Special for me 1936 Sears Roebuck
33L8825/26 (same 33D8825/26)
Sears original references
American Indian Design. Strong harness
leather embossed in fancy design. Width, about 1 3/4 inches. Made in the heart
of the west. Nickel plated buckle is an exact copy of a hand-made Indian
buckle. A rich new pattern worked out in colored “jewel” stones and rivets to
truly reflect the spirit of the old West.
Description
The newest Indian design buckle of those
days is attached. Also the belt strap with this special is used. Since the
buckle is written to be "an exact copy of a handmade Indian buckle"
to the catalog, I am very interested in the original. A belt strap has a stamp
of Made in the heart of the west, and was used only for this 33L8825/26(same
33D8825/26). The strap is not used for the belt of other types although the
buckle is used also for the belt of other types. Moreover, since it is written
"truly reflect the spirit of the old West", a special thought is
felt.
